Nigg cross-slab centrepiece of Groam House lecture

newly conserved nigg pictish cross-slabOn Thursday 5 September at 7.30pm Nigg Old Church trustee and respected early Medieval art historian, Isabel Henderson, will be giving the the final talk in the 2013 Groam House lecture series.

She will describe the project to conserve the Nigg cross-slab and re-open the church Poor Loft, which after many years of work and fundraising led to the triumphant unveiling in April this year. Find out more about this talk and work undertaken by Groam House Museum on their website.
